Antique Set Six Georgian Chippendale Mahogany Dining Chairs C1780 Wdb5008/7.9

Description

Lovely set six matching antique george 111 mahogany dining chairs in the manner of chippendale and dating from aorund 1780. Constructed from solid quality mahogany they have a shaped back rail above a pierced lyre shaped central back splat and reeded side rails. They have a drop in seat pad covered with a floral velvet fabric (easily recovered if you so wished) and standing on four squared reeded legs joined by squared 'h' stretchers.

In very good condition with a lovely deep mellow colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the georgian period.

Each chair measures: 39" high X seat height 17" X 19" deep X 20" wide
