Description

Lovely set six antique 19th century country oak spindle back dining chairs and dating from aorund 1860. There are four chairs and two carvers. The carvers having a shaped top rail above a three tier spindle back and with outsplayed armrests on turned supports with rush seats standing on turned legs on a ball foot and joined by turned stretchers. There chairs have a shaped top rail above a two tier spindle back with rush seat standing on turned legs on a ball foot joined by turned stretchers.

In very good condition with a lovely colour and deep patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of the country oak period.

Each carver measures: 42" high X seat height 17" X 19" deep X 22" wide

Each chair measures: 36" high X seat height 17" X 18" deep X 18" wide
