French Antique Company has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Stunning 19th century French gilt Louis XVI mirror.
It dates from around 1860.
It has its heavy original mercury glass with gorgeous foxing but no scratches. Mercury glass is so hard to find and gives a reflection and sparkle like no other.
It has all its original backboards.
It is plenty tall enough to be used as a freestanding leaner mirror but would also look incredible above a fireplace or hanging on a large wall.
