Pair of Georgian Chippendale Hand Chairs

Description

Pair of 18th century George 3rd "Chippendale" design mahogany hand chairs. Square legs united by stretchers underneath. Lovely shaped backs with pierced and carved back splat. Nice having a pierced heart at the top. The chairs are a pleasing colour with good patination and a waxed finish.

The chairs are basically in good condition, they are tight and the upholstery is good and clean. There is a small old repaired crack at the top on one of them. They may also have lost a tiny bit of height.

SIZE; 21" wide by 18 1/2" deep by 37" high overall. Seat height is 18"
