Pappilon has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Displaying a cartouche shaped moulded back surmounted by a foliate cresting. Demonstrating outswept padded arms, sides and seat with loose squab and bolster cushion. Above a foliate carved seat-rail on cabriole legs and scroll feet. Stamped on the seat-rail I LEBAS. A fabulous example.
