Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
An attractive nursing chair.
This chair features ornate carvings and strap effect fretwork to the back and a sprung upholstered seat. The chair stands on cabriole shaped front legs and curved rear legs which finishes to its original 4 solid brass castors with brown porcelain wheels.

This chair has been recently re-upholstered (approximately 5 years ago) to a high standard in a floral turquoise and gold Damask material which is in a fantastic clean condition with virtually no wear (from a smoke and pet free home). The material could be left as it because of its fantastic used condition or it could be fully upholstered to your taste. We would be able to quote for re-upholstering this chair for you if you enquire.

This item is structurally solid, in good order with no loose joints. The material and sprung seated inner padding seems to be in very good condition with no clunking. The chair is very comfortable to sit in.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but does have some signs of wear and tear, however, we feel that these points are which adds to part of its charm and character with it being antique.
