Walton House Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The 18th century mirror plate is a replacement but is old; it is clear and quite functioning with old marks and scratches to the surface in some areas. The mirror is of diminutive size and good scale and is fitted with the original gilded brass candle sconces that flank a concave shell to the bottom apron.
