Fine Large Antique French Gilt Mirror

19th century
Description

A fine and imposing French floor standing gilt mirror in super condition dating from around 1870. The mirror has very elegant proportions and retains its original water gilding which has a glorious rich colour. The glass is in superb clean condition with no blemishes. This has its original backboards and is in excellent condition overall.

The piece is a most practical size measuring 165 cms high by 93 cms wide overall.

Provenance: From an imposing Gentleman’s residence in Durham City.
