Antique Welsh Oak Armchair

Description

Distinguished by its intense colour and rich patina, this medium sized oak armchair has great presence.

Somewhat unusual in having no carved decoration, the multiple arched cresting rail and very boldly turned front legs and arm supports give the chair an abundance of decorative appeal.

Circa 1650-80.
