Impressive oval gilded mirror of superb quality.
The moulded frame is adorned with floral and leafy ornaments which surround the beautifully aged main plate. Almost all decoration is original to the piece.
It has a hand-hewn bevelled edge which is surrounded by four, also original, curved corner plates, all with bevelled edges.
In unusually good condition considering its fragility and age, with only the minimum amount of losses or repairs.
A very impressive statement piece, ideal in a large hallway or reception room.
