An impressive pair of large scale Spanish side chairs in the C17th style, with intricately embossed leather backs and seats with arched tops, flanked with brass finials and finished with brass studs. The solid walnut frames with bobbin reel legs and stretchers with large interwoven carved front stretchers and terminating in stylised paw feet. Circa 1860
