The chair is upholstered with an olive-green leathercloth seat, which has been finished with hand-tacked brass studs to the perimeter. The chair has also been French polished, by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. The chair sits on four splayed solid legs that terminate on replacement top quality English made solid brass castors. The chair incorporates a revolving mechanism and it rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal screw on the underside of the chair. The chair mechanism has been cleaned, restored and serviced and is in excellent working order. The chair frame is sturdy and the item is extremely comfortable to sit on, as it features a lovely padded seat.

Condition Report:
The oak chair frame has been French polished, by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The chair is upholstered with an olive-green leathercloth seat, which has been finished with hand-tacked brass studs to the perimeter. The leather cloth is in good condition, with nominal old use marks, but nothing significant (please see photos). The adjustable height mechanism is in good working order, having been cleaned, restored and serviced. There is some play to the mechanism but this is perfectly acceptable, and in line with the age of the chair. The chair sits on four splayed solid oak legs that terminate on replacement top quality, English made, solid brass castors. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
