Description

This is a most imposing antique antler armchair in excellent condition dating from around 1870. The armchair is a substantial piece with great impact in any room and is remarkably sound and robust in its construction. The sprung seat is in good order upholstered in thick deer hide. The horn frame has decorative carved bone cabochons to the ends as attractive contrasting detail. All in all this is a great piece ready for use or display.

The chair measures 1 metre high by 68 cms wide and 75 deep. The spacious seat is 46 cms from the floor and 56 cms wide.
