Description

A wonderful large scale 18th Century carved giltwood Venetian mirror, with splayed crest and top mercury plate surrounded by flowing foliate and c-scroll carving and repeating down each side and also rising up from the bottom corners and repeated again to the centre below, all enclosing early mercury plates with charming sparking and foxing. 67" high x 50" wide. Circa 1760.
