Nicely Sized Pretty Victorian Petite Hand Mirror

A very pretty Victorian silver hand mirror. The proportions are lovely as although petite, it is slightly larger than the average petite hand mirror; and could fit into a handbag (length: 12.7 cm). The back is beautifully decorated with flowers, swirls and criss-cross design chasing. Hallmarks are visible on the silver for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1896, Lion Passant and the silver maker's mark: Lawrence Emanuel. The original bevelled mirror is nice and clear.

 

A stunning item of silver, and rare to find one of this size; a wonderful gift!

 

Condition: The silver and the mirror glass are in great condition.
