English Fruitwood Antique Country Armchair

This is a beautiful, 19th century antique armchair made in solid cherry wood which is very unusual. In the Chippendale style, this antique armchair is perfect to use as a carver dining chair or as a desk chair. It is an ample size and in in superb, strong condition and is a lovely original colour. The back rest has a wide, Chippendale back splat with shaped open arms, a solid seat upon square legs that are joined by stretchers. A lovely cherry wood antique armchair that dates from around 1840.
