A Set of Six George III Mahogany Dining Chairs

18th century
Description

A set of six George III solid mahogany dining chairs comprising two arm and four side chairs, each with a reeded toprail with rounded ends over reeded uprights with three fluted bars within, and with drop in seats on square tapering supports united with an H stretcher; the armchairs having downswept elbows on turned balusters. English, circa 1800.

Condition: Excellent, the chairs are all solid and very robust, with pleasing colour and patination. The material, while faded, is in acceptable condition.
