1900. They are of very large proportions. Each Have a Beautifully Shaped Chippendale design back with back splat and shell carvings. These splendid antique chairs stand on splayed back legs and have cabriole front legs with shell carvings and carved ball and claw feet. The seats are in an early leather, the chairs come with wonderful charm, character and the Walnut has aged to a mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
