The chairs are designed with an attractive bow fronted shaped back, comprising of a curved, moulded top rail, connected to shaped side supports, with a vertical pierced splat, all of which is decorated with symmetrical scratch carvings.
The chairs boast generous stuff-over seats, which have been professionally upholstered, with new springs, in new top-quality taupe colour structured cotton material, finished with matching braiding and traditional hessian backing to the underside. The bow front moulded seat frame is raised on fine quality ring turned & reeded tulip carved front legs, with sabre rear legs to the rear. The chairs retain their original brass collars & porcelain castors.

Condition Report:
The chair frames have been cleaned and French polished, by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair frames and legs, but nothing significant considering the age of the chairs. There is a small variation in the design of the pierced central splat on some of the chairs, which is quite unnoticeable unless it is pointed out. The chairs boast generous stuff-over seats, which have been professionally upholstered, with new springs, in new top-quality taupe colour structured cotton material, finished with matching braiding and traditional hessian backing to the underside. The upholstery is therefore clean, free from wear and marks. If you do not like the colour/style of the upholstery, we can recover the seats in a fabric of your choice. If you would like the seats recovered, please contact us for a quote. The chairs retain their original brass collars & porcelain castors. The chairs are solid in joint and ready to be used.
