This is an attractive and stunning quality antique Victorian Gothic revival carved solid oak upholstered nursing chair, circa 1870, in good original condition. The dusky-pink coloured draylon velvet upholstery is in good clean overall condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the frame but nothing significant considering its age. The oak frame has been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. There is no damage or missing carvings to the oak frame. The castors are original to the chair and in good condition.
