London City Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The carver chairs having elegantly shaped scrolled arms with turned supports, they all stand on turned legs to the front and out swept back legs, united by turned stretchers. The drop in seats have been newly reupholstered in a quality fabric fitting with the period.
These splendid examples are in lovely original condition - the design, craftsmanship, colour and patination are superior.
