Description

Circa 1800, rare pair of George III hall chairs, in original, unrestored condition. The shaped backs surmounted by turned roundels and bearing a painted family crest within a scrolled background. The generous sized seats in a figured Spanish mahogany over a simple seat rail. Supported in front on tapering, ring- turned legs with roundel capitals and outswept rear supports.
