This chair has an unblemished caned back with a crisply detailed fretwork central splat and a removable, brand new, never been sat on, tartan covered cushion. The chair is of very solid construction and has a simple elegance. This is a quality item that has lasted over a century & is a statement piece in its own right & would be an excellent addition to the modern home.
