Set Four Antique Early Victorian Country Oak Peg Joined Dining Chairs C1850 Wdb4856/17.6

Description

Lovely set four antique early victorian country oak peg joined dining chairs and dating form aorund 1850 being revivals from around the time of the restoration period of 1680. Constructed from solid oak and peg joined they have a shaped top rail above a half panelled backrest and squared side supports with a double plank seat with moulded edge and standing on turned and block legs joined by a bobbin stretcher to the front and double squared stretchers to the sides.

They are all hand and peg joined.

They are in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of early country made chairs.

Each chair measures: 40" high X seat height 18" X 18" deep X 17" wide
