Circa 1790, quality set of 8 George III mahogany dining chairs, consisting of 2 carvers and 6 side chairs (recently re-upholstered). The shaped rectangular backs in a reeded frame, with 3 foliate carved and shaped uprights, and the arms on shaped supports. With large stuffover seats over tapering front legs, and slightly outswept back legs united by H stretchers.
