Condition Report:
Here is a fine quality antique English Queen Anne style beech wing arm chair, constructed during the George V period, circa 1920, which has been newly upholstered in a light grey fabric, to a professional standard, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The frame has been tightened and glued to ensure it is solid in joint. The chair has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in a taupe grey colour cotton material, with matching braiding, as well as traditional hessian backing to the underside. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from any marks or damage. The seat has been re-sprung and padded, to ensure it is extremely comfortable to sit on, while at the same time you do not sink into the seat frame. The legs have been cleaned and traditionally French polished by hand in our workshop, in order to achieve a rich warm colour. The chair is solid in joint and ready to use.
