Beautiful antique French gilt empire mirror dating from around 1815.

It has its beautiful original gilt (real gold leaf) frame in lovely condition with ornate floral gesso detail typical of this period.

It also has its gorgeous, original heavy mercury glass with light patination and no scratches.

It would look beautiful on a wall alone or grouped with other rectangular mirrors.
