18th Century Thames Valley Yew Comb Back Windsor Chair

A superb, English Georgian antique comb back Windsor armchair from the Thames Valley region. In excellent, original condition, the single piece shaped seat is in elm wood with the rest of the chair, entirely in yew wood. An un-common model, standing well on cabriole front legs, all pegged construction, all original and a superb colour. There is a great Blacksmith made, sympathetic repair to an arm support. This Georgian antique Thames Valley Windsor has a lovely comb back rest with a shaped top rail. A comfortable English yew wood country antique armchair that is a good, ample size.
