It has eight turned spindles beneath the oxbow arm rest, and the solid elm seat is supported by strong gently-splayed legs united by a double-H stretcher. This superb chair has not been re-polished; it retains its original finish with an abundance of honest charm and character. It is structurally sturdy and has no woodworm, past or present.
