An outstanding and rare pair of mid 18th Century Mahogany Side Chairs of wonderful untouched colour, in superb original condition. Each with foliate carved top rails, fluted uprights, and pierced splats with carved decoration. Having the rare feature of serpentine shaped front rails with gadroon carved decoration the the bottom edge.
The cabriole legs carved with acanthus leaf, foliate ear pieces with punch work and claw and ball feet. Circa 1755
