Large French Faux Bamboo Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

Good size French faux bamboo style mirror made in solid beech, hand turned and highlighted, finished with a clear beeswax to seal, circa 1920 and in super condition.

The faux bamboo has a wonderful pale tone as it should and the wax finish gives it a mellow glow. The highlighting to the typical bamboo turns are a great contrast to the pale beech.

The mirror glass is newly fitted and I have also added hanging chain so you can use this mirror both "portrait" and "landscape."

Not terribly heavy, so it will hang from ma single screw fitting in your wall.
