Description

Here we have a wonderful set of four Windsor Ash, Beech and Elm chair by W H and A Bateman of Moseley Street Birmingham c1900. As you can see the chairs and a beautiful mellow colour and patina. There are strong hooped Ash rails with a stick back. There are Elm seats with lovely grain and a saddle shape. The seats have the extra tooth at the back with two further spindle supports offering more support. The legs are well turned and joined by an H stretcher. A super set of four in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 89 cm high 40 cm wide 45 cm deep. Seat height 46 cm.
