Early C19th Regency period mahogany
armchair of good rich colour and proportions.
Useful carver or armchair in excellent original strong condition. Scroll arms with a ‘drop-in’ seat pad covered in the apparently original oil-cloth fabric .
Raised on reeded tapering forelegs with a shaped foot , a turned patera on the front corners . The back support panel with an incised reeded line , with a rounded profile lumbar bar .
