Rare Scottish 19th Century Advertising Antique Chair

A very original antique advertising chair that would have been displayed in a Victorian shop to promote Watson's Matchless Cleanser- is the best soap for all purposes. Made in Scotalnd around 1890 by F. East of Dundee, it is a registered design and the chairs is stamped in three places. The chair is all in very good, sturdy and original condition with the enamel advert inset as the back rest. A fabulous and decorative piece of rare Victorian antique advertising furniture. Perfect for a bathroom. Watsons soaps was later bought by Lever, then Unilever that we know today.
