Pair of French Painted Wing Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Super pair of French Louis XV style painted wing armchairs, circa 1900.

Great size and very comfortable armchairs, ideal height to the backs for support and a generous seat.

Well carved frames and they are in their original paint finish which is a lovely aged olive green tone.

The current upholstery is in good condition, although there is a small mark to the wing of one chair which may or may not clean off, but worth trying if you were planning to keep the current fabric.

Both in good solid condition and ready to go!

29 inches or 74 cm wide

30 1/2 inches or 77.5 cm deep

18 inches of 46 cm cushion height

21 inches or 53.5 cm between the arms

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
