Antique Gilded and Ebonised Rectangular Wall Mirror

Description

Circa 1880, carved and gilded rectangular wall mirror. The profusely carved frame with full relief gilded flowerheads to each corner, a border with mythical dragons amongst foliate casting, and an egg and dart, ebonised beading. With gilded, ebonised sides to the frame, and the mirror plate in good condition (no foxing); it can be hung in either portrait or landscape format.
