A lovely English country antique carver chair made in solid alder wood which is in the original finish. All very strong and intact and with a good, original rush seat, this 19th century antique armchair has shaped, blade like arms and back rails with turned front legs, front rail and arm supports. Perfect seat height for dining or desk work. English and dating from around 1860.
