Regency Bergere Armchair with New Leather Cushions

19th century
Description

Very smart and good quality Regency period mahogany bergere desk chair or armchair with newly upholstered buttoned leather seat cushions, circa 1820 and in super condition.

Beautifully turned front column legs and classic Regency lines throughout the rest of the chair.

The cane panels are all in good condition and very able to carry an adult with the cushions fitted.

This chair would be ideal for a home office desk chair, but also as a decorative occasional chair to be admired!

Measuring:

40 3/4 inches 103.5 cm high

24 1/2 inches or 62 cm wide

25 1/2 inches or 65 cm deep

18 inches of 46 cm seat height

20 1/2 inches of 52 cm between the arms
