A Pair Of 18th Century Gainsborough Arm Chairs

A pair of mahogany Gainsborough type library chairs. Camel-back top rail and down swept curve to the arm supports.This neat design is aesthetically pleasing and the padded slopping backs make them comfortable whilst the H stretchers give strength. Some old repairs to the frames, please see images, we have had them tightened by our restorer and they are ready for reupholstery.c 1760
