Large Scale 19th Century French Armchair

Description

Large scale, 19th century French carved wood armchair retaining its original, beautifully aged gilt.

Having a nice overall shape. It has carvings on the crest of its wide back, depicting a central rosette flanked by carved flowers and leaves. Also carvings on the front apron and cabriole legs.

Upholstered in our workshops in vintage hemp.
