Child’s Wing Chair and Bear

This very distressed little child’s wing chair is presented with “its” Teddy Bear.

Dating the 1920’s, the chair is a small version of a very well designed full size chair and very decorative as it is with its wooden frame partially showing.

The Teddy we believe was made by Hermann, Germany before 1931. The well loved bear is the open-mouthed model with mohair fur and is fully articulated also with a hump on the back.

The bear belonged to the girl which is on the right side of the photograph. The story is displayed on the cardboard note which the bear is showing and it is a very moving child’s memory from the London Blitz in WWII.

Sold together as they shouldn’t really be separated.

Buyers have the right to ask to return an item purchased from us within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Returned items must be sent using a shipping method and carrier tier equivalent to that used for the original dispatch, unless an alternative service upgrade is agreed upon in advance.

Items must be returned unaltered and in their original condition. The consumer retains full liability for the goods during transit and is responsible for handling any insurance claims for damage, loss, or theft that may occur during return shipment.

A refund of the amount received by us for the item will be issued to the original method of payment once the item has been safely received. A deduction may be applied if the value of the item has been diminished by handling or use beyond what is necessary to inspect it.
