A Set of Twelve George III Dining Chairs

Description

Made from good quality Cuban mahogany, this set of chairs consists of two arms and ten singles. They are of a good size and the shaped backs are above upholstered seats. The square tapering legs are joined by a H stretcher. The chairs are an untouched rich colour and the chairs are in the style of Gillow. The chairs are show as purchased having come from a private source. They need waxing and reupholstering. The price quoted are as seen. Upon request a price can be supplied to wax and upholster. True sets of twelve 18th century chairs are becoming increasingly difficult to find and these are a very decent example of a set of late 18th century dining chairs. The seat width of the arms is 22 inches and the seat width of the singles 20 inches.
