A rare one off and probably a commission piece. The solid rosewood frame has finely carved ball and claw feet, leading up to a carved shoulder and apron. The shepherd''s crook arms have turned, fluted supports whilst the back has a simple rounded frame which is set off with a wonderful tapestry back. The drop-in seat has matching tapestry although it is worn and faded to the front edge.
