A Pair of Early Victorian Oak Hall Chairs

Description

An unusual pair of early Victorian oak hall chairs of small proportions, the balloon backs each with a stylised anthemion over a scrolled support with a shield within, over a flat seat and on turned inverted baluster legs. English circa 1840.

Condition: Excellent, the chairs are both solid and robust, and with pleasing colour.
