Antique Victorian Carved Oak Carolean Chair C1850 Wdb4683/28.4

Description

This is a lovely antique victorian carved oak carolean armchair and dating form aorund 1850 being a revival piece from the charles 11 restoration period. Beautifully carved with turned side supports ending with carved patera and turned finials and with scroll and leaf work to the split cane back rest and sweeping scroll armrests on turned supports leading to a turned and block leg joined by a carved scrollwork frieze and with a split cane seat.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and oozes the charm and character of the carolean period.

Measures: 50" high X seat height 17.5" X 26" deep X 27" wide
