An Early 19th Century Ash And Elm Windsor Chair

A late Georgian chair with well figured saddle seat in elm. Steamed ash hoop, crook arms with single ring turned leg. In very good condition, solid construction with great patination. C 1830. A solid, period, provincial wheelback Windsor chair of an early date. No outward play to the arms and no loss of height to the legs.
