Lovely proportioned French c19th landscape overmantle mirror with an unusual deep moulded frame and a wonderfully worn finish throughout.
The mirror can be hung as you see it here as ''landscape'' but can also work as a dressing mirror if hung ''portrait'' too.
The frame has a repeated leaf motif in plaster and the original gilding has worn so you can see the red base coat coming through which helps give this mirror a really very decorative finish.
The mirror is the original mercury glass and also has some foxing to it, adding to the ambience!
