Antique Set Edwardian Country Oak Lancashire Dining Chairs Wdb300/21.4

Description

lovely matched set of Edwardian country oak spindle back rush seated Lancashire dining chairs comprising six singles and two carvers and dating from around 1900. They have a high railed back united by finely turned spindles meeting rush seats supported by club cabriole legs on ball feet and tied by double stretchers with lovely turned stretcher to the front. The carvers have outsplayed arms and turned supports.

In very good condition and all being sound and solid with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of the early country oak period.

Measures: chairs: 36.5" high x seat height 17.5" x 18.5" deep x 18.5" wide

Carvers: 42" high x seat height 17.5" x 20" deep x 22.5" wide
