Description:
The set comprises two armchairs and four side chairs. The chairs have been traditionally French polished by hand in our workshop, to a professional standard, therefore, the finish, colour and patination is excellent. The chairs are constructed of solid mahogany and decorated with a finely carved floral shaped reeded vertical bar, flanked by further reeded vertical bars, secured by reeded vertical rails. The armchairs are boast fine quality satinwood and ebony string inlay to the elegant bar backs and arms. Incorporating generous and comfortable over stuffed seats, which have just been professionally upholstered in new top-quality taupe colour structured cotton material, finished with matching braiding and traditional hessian backing to the underside.
Condition Report:
These dining chairs are in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, frames and legs, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The chairs have been traditionally French polished by hand in our workshop, to a professional standard, therefore, the finish, colour and patination is excellent. Incorporating generous and comfortable over stuffed seats, which have just been professionally upholstered in new top-quality taupe colour structured cotton material, finished with matching braiding and traditional hessian backing to the underside.
