Description

Lovely matched set of Georgian Lancashire country elm spindle back rush seated dining chairs and dating from around 1780.Constructed from solid elm with a railed back united by finely turned spindles meeting rush seats supported by club cabriole legs on a small pad foot and tied by double stretchers with turned stretcher to the front.

in very good condition being sound and solid and with a lovely deep colour and patination to the elm oozing the charm and character of the georgian period.

each chair measures: 40" high x seat height 18" x 18" deep x 19" wide
